Macbeth

Shakespeare’s tragic tale of murder, manipulation and witchcraft is brought to life in this contemporary production which marks both Christopher Eccleston’s RSC debut and the return of Niamh Cusack to the Company. Captured live in Stratford-upon-Avon, Polly Findlay’s dark reimagining employs elements of horror to encapsulate Macbeth’s psychological trauma through sound, lighting and illusions. Production photography by Richard Davenport.
